Rooted in Place
From desert trails to hillside views, and places that nourish you completely, every journey is connected to our people and our lands.
Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre
Where the spirit of the land tells its stories. The Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre is a gateway to the land, language and living culture of the Osoyoos Indian Band. Follow our guides or enjoy a self-guided stroll through interactive exhibits, immersive theatre experiences and hands-on displays. See the live snake show. Wander sagebrush trails to Chief’s Lookout. Pass through a reconstructed village and discover the “Living Lands” metal sculptures.
Built into the hillside with a remarkable rammed-earth wall, surrounded by a 1,600-acre conservation area in Canada’s only desert, our centre is a place of expression, understanding and protection. Arrive with curiosity. Leave with something deeper.
Nk’Mip RV Park & Campground
Set between the sagebrush of the Sonoran desert and the soft edge of Osoyoos Lake, this is no ordinary campground. With more lakefront and beach-access sites than anywhere else in the Okanagan, Nk’Mip offers space to connect with the land, the water and each other. Roll up in your RV, set up your campsite, or cozy into our four-bedroom lakefront cabin near Spirit Beach. Launch into the water from the marina. Gather for food, drinks and live music every weekend at The Spirit Beach Cantina. The desert air is warm. The welcome is warmer. It’s the kind of place people come back to year after year, generation after generation.
Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course
With iconic holes like The Chief, this 18-hole championship course in Oliver plays through desert hills, vineyard air and expansive South Okanagan skies. Some holes reward power. Others demand precision. Each one offers a new perspective, bringing you closer to the land. Fairways curve through sagebrush. Greens roll true. Views stretch for miles. Start your day early or tee off at golden hour. Whether you’re chasing birdies, epic views, or simply enjoying the stroll, here you’ll find a course with plenty of character and stories to be told along the way.
Nk’Mip Cellars
As North America’s first Indigenous-owned winery, Nk’Mip Cellars is a testament to our deep connection to the land. From the sun-soaked vineyards of the South Okanagan, we create award-winning wines that reflect our heritage and the unique terroir of our home. Led by estate winemaker Justin Hall, a proud Osoyoos Indian Band member and one of the first Indigenous winemakers in the world, every bottle tells a story of tradition, innovation and the enduring bonds between our community and nature.
